UPDATE: Senator Bayh gave any Indiana Democrat one day to file enough signatures. The deadline was today not Friday as originally reported. That means the Indiana State Democratic Party will choose the nominee that will appear on the ballot. Which means that another DINO, Blue Dog, American Traitor Bitch will be the choice.
Indiana Senator Evan Bayh(DINO) announced his retirement today. Well, good riddance to that asshole. Anybody who wants to replace him on the Democratic ballot will have until this Friday to gather 500 signatures from Indiana's 9 Congressional Districts. That leaves only one man who could possibly do such a feat. Another "Blue Dog"(read Corporate Whore), Rep. Brad Ellsworth. So if any of you Progressive Citizens of Indiana wanted to run, well you're pretty much fucked from the get go. Don't worry about Evan though, I'm sure some Corporation will hire him.
The good news for the Obama Misadministration is that they will have another excuse for not doing anything.
